Huffmaster Crisis Response is recruiting experienced Certified Forklift Operators personnel to work during a possible labor dispute located in Tennessee. This job action could occur late-April / early May 2023.
Pay Rate: $28/hour
Weekly Guarantee: 60-Hours (If Ready, Willing, and Able to Work Each Scheduled Shift)
Basic Requirements:
- 1 Year of Certified Forklift Experience Within the Last 5-years – OR – 6 Months of Experience Within the Last 3-Years
- Health & Wellness End Supplier & Manufacturer Exp. Preferred
- Must be willing and able to travel and deploy for a minimum of 45-day
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly in English both verbally and written
- Wear appropriate required safety gear
- Demonstrate awareness of/compliance with all pertinent safety policies and procedures
- Operate mobile equipment in a safe manner to move material
- Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Prepare products for shipment per work instructions which may mean special labeling (by hand), wrapping, repalletization and protection of the product
- Inspect physical condition of product, warehouse and equipment
- Carry out shipping priorities as determined by shipping notices, bills of loading, invoices, orders and other records
- Validate accuracy of receiving and shipping documents
- Prep conveyances for loading and unloading
- Validate accuracy of inventory
- Inspecting incoming materials for completeness and quality
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. above head regularly
Certification Requirements:
- ALL Positions require Class I,IV,V Certification/Experience (Sit Down: Gas and Electric)
- Forklift certified/experienced on Drexel Style Lift preferred (minimum of 2 positions require Drexel Certification)
- 1 Opening requires Forklift Certified in Class II (Stand-Up Lift)
