Development and Training

Huffmaster’s security development and training programs are crafted by the nation’s most well-trained individuals experienced with the Department of Homeland Security’s Run, Hide, Fight program and education’s ALICE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate) program. In addition, our lead security trainer co-authored the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) policies and protocols that organizations use to identify and prevent threatening behavior.

Leveraging decades of experience, Huffmaster designs workplace violence prevention programs for Fortune 500 companies and some of the top universities in the country, along with local K through 12 schools. In addition, we adhere to government compliance programs such as:

  • Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) – A regulatory program established in 2007 that addresses chemical security by identifying and regulating high-risk facilities that possess certain Chemicals Of Interest (COI) at specific concentrations and quantities.
  • Maritime Security (MARSEC) – A level set to reflect the prevailing threat environment to the marine elements of the national transportation system, including ports, vessels, facilities, and critical assets and infrastructure located on or adjacent to waters subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S.
  • Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) – Partnering with the trade community to secure the U.S. and international supply chains from possible intrusion by terrorist organizations.

If you require annual security awareness training or your security plan needs to be refreshed, Huffmaster will meet your needs with certified and compliant security plans. You don’t have to work scared; you must prepare and train to become aware of your surroundings.
