HEALTHCARE STRIKE: Michigan Registered Nurses Needed in Southwest Michigan Huffmaster is currently recruiting for a work stoppage in Michigan on or about March 19th, 2010.
This is a full service acute care facility and all disciplines are required. In addition to RN's we are also recruiting Certified First Assist Scrub Techs with Cardio Thoracic experience. Other than these specific positions, this is a Registered Nurse strike.
First priority will be granted to RN's who currently hold a MI license however; we will be paying for licensing upon receipt of the appropriate paperwork. We will incur the expense to license in MI if you work this strike.
We will need for you to fax your credentials, application and all other information as is listed on the Applicant File Checklist and any information related to your areas of practice to FAX 1-866-686-5284. Priority will be given to the first complete files that we receive. Please indicate which area of practice Skills Checklists you need to complete for your various areas of practice. I will then forward to you for completion.
If you are interested, the pay rate is $40.00/hr. In addition to your pay rate, all travel to and from the job, housing and daily cash per diem of $30/day will be covered. Although there is no way to know how long a strike will run, you will be guaranteed 36 hours once the strike begins. If the strike is ongoing, it will consist of 10 or 12 hour shifts for 6-7 days per week with time and half over 40. If you can only work for a limited amount of time, please indicate your availability in your credential submittal information. Although we cannot give the exact location of the facility but it is located in the southwest portion of the state.
